If you think Panasonic, Sony, Nikon and other mainstream camera manufacturers have the smallest cameras around, you might wanna take a look at Hammacher’s “The World’s Smallest Camera”, yes it is named simply that and features a measurement of 1 1/8″ L x 1″ @ x 1 1/16″ D.
From the measurement, the camera can theoretically fit on the tip of one’s index finger. The camera features a 2MP image sensor which can shoot photos with a 1600 x 1200 resolution while a video capture feature fairs at a resolution of 640 x 480 at 30 fps which is still not bad for its size.
The camera is available to order from Chinavision for $99.95.
