Veracode says that Pandora Radio is sending personal information to Ad sites

Just last month, a probe team asked a number of Android developers to submit privacy information for a federal grand jury. Pandora Radio is one of the said companies and now, Veracode confirms that Pandora is sending user data that could be used by third party ad servers.
Data such as sex, GPS information, birthdates and more are being sent knowingly by Pandora in exchange for who knows what to different ad sites. Pandora defends this by saying that they were collecting personal information for the purpose of making the Pandora music experience more personal but Veracode begs to differ. If the jury finds Pandora guilty, it would mean a lot of penalties if not foreclosure.
